The Vivek Mission Charitable Trust is a backward area Trust<\/strong><\/em> \nIn the sense that it has no property or industries on its name. Our trust is running solely on donations from our members who have put their trust and belief in the Almighty and his love.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
We request you to please donate whole heartedly so that we can spread more love and help people to change their lives forever. The Vivek Mission Charitable Trust keeps accounts of every single penny that is donated. Moreover, donations made to the trust are exempt under section 80G of the Income Tax Rules of the Government of India.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
After founding the Vivek Charitable Trust, Baba Ji found that a number of patients were visiting him for their weak eyesight, in the hope that they would be treated. Baba Ji helped all these people by instructing his disciples to give economic help to all the poor and needy that came to the Trust for operations.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
Upon noticing the number of poor and needy people needing such operations; Baba Ji envisioned building a hospital, purely dedicated to eye services such as checkups and operations.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
To materialize this vision, Baba Ji gave the final touches to the Vivek Mission Charitable Trust, which came into existence under the patronage of Baba Ji and Swami Brahm Muni Ji as its President. After this, the eye-hospital came into force. It was commemorated to Shaheed Naib Singh Gill (Winner Veer Chakra), who laid his life for his mother land in 1971 in the Indo-Pak war.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
Today, the Vivek Charitable Eye Hospital lends its services to the poor and the needy. Offering them free eye care and beyond. In addition, free eye camps are held in the local villages for those who cannot afford treatment.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
Dr. Dhanwant Singh Ji (Padam Sri) of Patiala has also rendered his services to the hospital, conducting checkups and helping treat almost 25456 patients that were successfully operated on for cataracts. Free lodging, langer and medicines are provided to all patients and their next of kin during their operations and recovery.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
Baba Ji believes in equality for all, and in keeping with this mantra, medicines and care has been distributed free of cost to all without considering caste, color, creed or religion.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
Mata Amar Kaur Ji belonged to the Dullat family, who were from the village of Bhagtuana. She was the paternal aunt of Sant Baba Karnail Dass Ji and Sardar Hardial Singh Dullat was her husband. She had great love and affection in her heart for Baba Ji and this led her to form a vulnerable attachment with the Vivek Mission Charitable Trust, which was established by Baba Ji. Mata Amar Kaur Ji showed great interest in the activities of the mission from the beginning.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
She actively took part in working towards the welfare of the poor and needy who would stumble upon the footsteps of the trust. She would help with their care, administer medication and take charge of day to day tasks at the trust.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
Upon seeing the benefit the trust was bringing to the poor and needy, Mata Amar Kaur Ji requested Baba Ji to establish a branch of the trust in their own area, where there was a vast majority of poor people that needed help. She humbly donated 11 acres of land to the trust, and today The Mata Amar Kaur Vivek Eye Hospital stands there, with its doors always open to the poor and needy.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
